David Adams Named Curry Health Network's March 2023 Service Excellence Superstar of the Month

Curry Health Network is delighted to announce that David Adams, Biomed Maintenance Engineer, has been selected as its Service Excellence Superstar of the Month for March 2023. David was nominated by Sherry Dye, Respiratory Manager, and was chosen by a committee of his peers.

Sherry shared the story behind her nomination, saying, "We had a patient in Acute Care who needed to be discharged with two E-cylinder oxygen tanks, but we only had one tank available at Curry General Hospital. David recognized the urgency of the situation and promptly brought a tank up from Brookings. Without his quick thinking and dedication, we would have had to wait for Lincare, which would have prevented the patient from going home. David's actions were truly above and beyond, and we are grateful for his commitment to both staff and patients."

David's recognition is well-deserved, as he exemplifies the values of integrity, teamwork, stewardship, and compassion in all that he does. His dedication to providing exceptional care and service to patients and colleagues alike is a testament to his outstanding character and work ethic.
