Mary Irwin Named CHN's Service Excellence Superstar for November 2024

CHN is proud to recognize Mary Irwin, RN, as our Service Excellence Superstar of the Month! Mary’s dedication to patient-centered care and her commitment to going above and beyond recently made a lasting impression on patient Patti Pearcey, who graciously allowed us to share her comments.

During a previous visit, Patti experienced significant challenges with her IV placement, which required multiple attempts by several nurses. While the staff was kind, the experience left her feeling anxious and dreading her next visit. This time, however, Mary made all the difference.

Patti shared, “I was met by a nurse who read my chart and planned how to make it a successful event. She swaddled me in warmth, got my body temp up, and got the IV in on the first try! The whole crew was excellent.”

Mary’s proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to create a calm and positive environment transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless and reassuring experience.
