Cardiologist, Non-Invasive -
Curry Health Network is seeking a dynamic full-time non-invasive Cardiologist to join its team of specialists.

Curry Health Network is a rural health system comprised of a critical access hospital and three medical clinics in the warm and welcoming communities of Gold Beach, Brookings, and Port Orford located in Curry County on the scenic southern Oregon coast. Our staff is dedicated to providing quality care and five-star service excellence.

Our Healthcare Facilities
In 2017, the new state-of-the-art 62,000 sf Curry General Hospital opened in Gold Beach to replace an aging facility. Safety and Quality accredited by DNV-GL, the hospital boasts the newest, advanced technology with care provided by experienced staff that are compassionate and caring. The emergency department has earned a designation as a Level IV Trauma Center and surgical services has two surgical suites and a procedure room.

Curry Medical Center is a beautiful 42,000 sf facility in Brookings which opened in 2011. In addition to primary care, specialty care, and same day appointments, Curry Medical Center-Emergency Care opened in December 2019 as the very first emergency medical services satellite providing services 24/7/365 in the state of Oregon. It is fully supported by Laboratory and Imaging services.

Curry Medical Practice is located within the hospital building in Gold Beach and offers primary care and specialty care. Curry Family Medical is our Rural Health Clinic offering primary care in Port Orford.

Curry Health Network offers imaging services including X-ray, MRI, CT, echocardiography, mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, DEXA, and stress testing. On-site laboratories are located in both Gold Beach and Brookings.

Demographics
Curry County, Oregon extends south to the California border on the west coast and has a population of 22,925 per 2019 US census estimates. The demographic includes 35% age 65 and older, followed by families with children.

About the Area
All communities in our service area are surrounded by wild and scenic rivers, wilderness areas, and state parks. The rugged grandeur of the Pacific northwest provides breathtaking coastlines. There are many outdoor recreational opportunities including fishing, biking, hiking, boating, beachcombing, golfing, rafting, surfing, wind surfing, and more. Portland, OR is an approximate 6-hour drive north and San Francisco, CA about a 7-hour drive south. The nearest commercial airport is located in Crescent City, California, approximately 15 miles south of the California border. Our region is known worldwide for its beautiful communities with warm, wonderful, and welcoming people, located in nature’s paradise.

Compensation and Benefits
Competitive Compensation is based on MGMA benchmarks. Physician may opt for an 8% premium in base compensation if they choose to not accrue paid vacation.
Provider is scheduled for either 4-10s or 5-8s (40 hours per week).
w/RVU Productivity Bonus for all w/RVUs earned in excess of MGMA median
Ramp-Up Expectations are based on encounters and dependent upon Provider experience, with expectations to achieve MGMA median by the end of year one for Providers new to practice, or 6 months for experienced Providers.
Sign-On Bonus – negotiable (½ upon 1st pay period, ½ after 6 months)
Relocation – negotiable
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
