Curry Health Network is seeking two (2) dynamic Family Medicine Physicians to join our rural health system comprised of a hospital and three medical clinics in the warm and welcoming communities of Gold Beach, Brookings, and Port Orford located in Curry County on the scenic southern Oregon Coast. About Curry Health Network
In 2017, the new state-of-the-art 62,000 square foot Curry General Hospital opened in Gold Beach to replace an aging facility. Safety and Quality accredited by DNV-GL, the hospital boasts the newest, advanced technology with care provided by experienced staff that are compassionate and caring. The emergency department has earned designation as a Level IV Trauma Center.
Curry Medical Center is a beautiful 42,000 square foot facility in Brookings which opened in 2011. In addition to primary care, specialty care, and same day appointments, Curry Medical Center-Emergency Care opened in December 2019 as the very first emergency medical services satellite providing services 24/7/365 in the state of Oregon. CMC-EC is fully supported by Laboratory and Imaging services.
Curry Medical Practice is located within the hospital building in Gold Beach and offers both primary care and specialty care. Curry Family Medical in Port Orford is our Rural Health Clinic offering primary care.
Curry Health Network offers imaging services including x-ray, MRI, CT, echocardiography, mammography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, fluoroscopy, DEXA, and stress testing. On-site laboratories are located in both Gold Beach and Brookings.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive Compensated based on MGMA median plus an 8% premium compensating for not accruing paid vacation. Compensation is paid on a daily shift rate basis - either 4/10s or 5/8s. The provider will work a minimum of 185 shifts per year if working 4/10s, and 231 shifts per year if working 5/8s.
RVU Productivity Bonus - paid when exceeding MGMA median
Ramp-up Expectations - based on encounters and dependent upon provider experience, with expectations to achieve MGMA median by the end of 6 months for experienced providers, or 1 year for providers new to practice.
