Emergency Dept. in Brookings Opens

BROOKINGS, OR (Dec. 3, 2019) - Curry Medical Center-Emergency Care in Brookings opened at 7 a.m. on December 2. Staffed with experienced emergency physicians, registered nurses, and registered respiratory therapists, and supported by 24/7 Lab and Imaging, the facility treated 33 patients in its first 24 hours of operation.

Curry Medical Center is now also offering Same Day Appointments from 8am-6pm, Monday through Saturday. Patients are invited to call 541.412.2000 during the hours of 7:30am-6:30pm to make a 15 minute appointment to treat a single, non-chronic condition lasting less than 7 days. If you're feeling a little sick or a little hurt, we don't want you to have to wait. We want you to get in, be seen, feel better, and get back to your life.
