High Field MRI
An MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) is a diagnostic imaging tool that uses magnetic fields to capture images inside the body to help providers diagnose medical conditions. MRI does not use radiation. At Curry Health Network, we have a Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5 Tesla wide bore MRI at our Brookings clinic.
What does MRI help diagnose?
MRI technology provides very detailed images to find tissue damage, such as tendon, ligament or muscle injuries, identify masses in the body and detect issues that are sometimes obscured by bone when using other imaging tools.
